Brought car in for safety issue- technical bulletin was
Brought car in for safety issue- technical bulletin was issued to correct dangerous release of braking system when slowing to a stop. Should have been NO CHARGE to do a 5 min software update and correct the problem. Dealership charged my $129 for diagnosing the problem when I told them what the problem was ahead of time. Dealership also recommended services that Toyota said wasn't due for another 30-50,000 miles. Emailed Joe Kuckuk about the issues and he never responded to my email.

Close mouths don’t get fed! Make sure you fully understand what you’re paying for. They really do go out of their way to try and scam you. It’s pretty sad and quite frankly ridiculous. Sales representatives definitely suck up to you and tell you what you want to hear only for it to be false. One person tells you something and the next tells you the complete opposite. Once you sign and pay, they could care less. Just be careful with this establishment. If I had known that every time I go in for service I would not have a great experience, I would’ve never bought my car from here. Forget about talking to a manager too. If you don’t go looking for one yourself, you’ll never get to speak to one.

I thought the second person trying to sell me on the warranty after I already told Colt that I wasn’t interested was a little bit excessive but not a big deal. The only issue with the sale was they could not find a second key and one had to be ordered and I had to bring back the car for programming of the new key.

Experience was very good overall. There were some time inefficiencies. We had to wait almost an hour from agreeing on a deal and obtaining a cashiers check for the purchase and meeting with Colt to complete paperwork. We did not work with a Jessica. Our sales person was Alex Hall. We are happy with the vehicle, but there are a couple chips on the windshield, drivers side. heiser agreed to repair, but we live 90 miles away and would have preferred Heiser pay for the repair locally to us. We would not expect windshield damage as an item not repaired/replaced prior to sale.

It is very difficult to plug the harness into the trailer . It is my feeling that the hitch choice should not have been available to choose for my Highlander.

Terrible experience.
Terrible experience. Still don't have my truck. Gave me loaner car with terrible tires and now I've been stuck in the snow. Technician overfilled car with oil and now they had to replace a catalytic converter on a brand new car. Highly HIGHLY upset and looking for SERIOUS compensation. Had to get towed out of parking spot in snow costing me money that I wouldn't have to spend if I had my truck.

Chris advised me not to drive my 2008. 4 Runner. Tow truck delivered on Monday after 7 pm. Chris said they would look at it Tuesday morning. He reassured me they can get it back soon. Matt called with the results by noon! He explained everything in full detail. I think we shocked him with our reactions to the final cost $3,200. + tax. And on top of that it was ready Wednesday morning. Amazing service!!!! I bought this 4-Runner off the showroom floor 2008. I have NEVER had to take my baby In for anything except brakes at 110,000 and new tires 2 yrs ago. I was faithful with my oil changes. SO that quote was nothing after 16 yrs of a PERFECT vehicle. I will be starting to look for another 4-Runner in midnight blue in about 10 years. Thank you for everything 🌸

The salesman, Al, was great, along with the management team! The guy that filled out all the paperwork for us even went out and helped get the car cleaned up! The only down side was the time involved in the final cleaning of the car. We waited about 2 hours to get the car done! In that time, our salesman, the used car manager, and the finance guy all tried to hurry the process along with minimal results! The manager was very apologetic, and we understand these things do happen, but we still think that if the car was being sold, it should have been fairly clean already! We were offered a loaner for a little while, but we thought it would not run into 2 hours. Other than that, the staff was excellent and helpful! We would buy from them again!

Really great, honest service with Amanda, in sales! She was thorough and consistent with any questions we had. Shahat and Sharde were also very informative on lease terms vs finance terms! Overall a nice experience and I would definitely recommend calling Amanda at the dealership if you are looking for a Toyota!

I am providing an updated review in response to my review on 09/28/23. Upon purchasing my vehicle from Heiser Toyota, I left the dealership with my expectations not met and highly dissatisfied. After lengthy conversations with the Director, Brian Crandall, he assured me that Heiser would make things right. Brian was able to coordinate various services needed for my vehicle, have the representative for Auto Amour, Tom Ripple, personally reapply the protectant to my vehicle, and ensure that when I left, my vehicle met my expectations. The service gentleman, Tom Lowther, was personable and wonderful throughout the duration of my service, providing frequent updates. In addition, the Auto Amour representative, Tom Ripple, exceeded all of my expectations. Tom was personable and carefully listened, validated, and effectively communicated all the steps he was going to take to address the concerns I had brought to the Director's attention. Tom also provided frequent updates regarding the process of my vehicle and personally completed a final walk-through. Tom Ripple made sure I left Heiser Toyota fully satisfied and more. The dissatisfaction that I had after purchasing my vehicle has all been corrected, as the director, Brian Crandall, ensured. Additionally, not only have my expectations been met, but Brian Crandall and Tom Ripple continued to go above and beyond. Both individuals took the time from their vacation and day to provide a check-in regarding the service I had received, ensuring it met my expectations. With this said Brian and Tom were able to address all of my concerns, demonstrate effective communication, and exceed all my expectations!
